Since 2015, Henning M. Lederer has been bringing the geometric cover art of vintage books to life. Here’s his latest instalment.
It is pleasing to behold.
Previously: Moving Covers

The impressive work of amateur artist Dianna Wood, who received a power washer as a birthday present this year (she really wanted one, apparently) and discoved a new creative medium – dirty driveways.
Hot Wheels
atBehold: the BST Hypertek – an electric motorcycle from carbon fibre wheel maker Blackstone Tek (their first).
The vision of former Ducati designer Pierre Terblanche, the 107bhp Hypertek (fully charged and good for 300km in just 30 minutes) has a fairly minimal carbon fibre and aluminium frame with a single-sided swingarm and a futuristic head-up display inside the driver’s helmet.
Production will be limited, prices and release dates as yet unannounced
Sideways
atBehold: NGC 3717 – a bit the worse for wear, by the looks of it. To wit:
Most bright stars in spiral galaxies swirl around the centre in a disk, and seen from the side, this disk can appear quite thin. Some spiral galaxies appear even thinner than NGC 3717, which is actually seen tilted just a bit. Spiral galaxies form disks because the original gas collided with itself and cooled as it fell inward. Planets may orbit in disks for similar reasons. The featured image by the Hubble Space Telescope shows a light-coloured central bulge composed of older stars beyond filaments of orbiting dark brown dust. NGC 3717 spans about 100,000 light years and lies about 60 million light years away toward the constellation of the Water Snake (Hydra).

Poursuite
athttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wHgeybOfqA
An utterly insane, bollard-dodging, pedestrian-endangering police motorcycle pursuit of one extremely slippery scooter rider through the streets of (we’re guessing) Paris.
For optimum effect, go full screen and tilt forward into the screen clutching a pair of makeshift pencil handlebars.
Hot Wheels
atBehold: the McLaren Elva Roadster – the lightest road car McLaren has ever made and the latest addition (following the F1, P1, Senna and Speedtail) in McLaren’s Ultimate Series.
The open driver compartment of this 804bhp, 4.0-litre, twin-turbo, V8 hypercar has a system of vents and ‘active aero vanes’ that create a low-pressure zone for the driver and passenger.
Which makes the windshield an optional extra. Neither do you need a helmet. But it’s probably advisable.
Deliveries start late next year when yours will cost a trifling €1,540,000.
Volkspod
atVolkspod – the twin fruit of a year long garage project by maker Brent Walter who combined front and rear VW Beetle wheel arches to form bizarre (and yet adorable) carapaces for two custom made scooter chassis.
