The Symbioz – Renault’s vision of an autonomous electric vehicle for the 2030s. Envisaged as part-car part ‘living room’, the Symbioz parks inside the home, offering backup power in the event of a outage as well as an extension to the living space, rising on a hydraulic platform to the roof terrace where occupants can enjoy a spectacular vista of Renault’s brave new world.

It’s mad altogether.

Behold the twin turbo, 6.3l, 900bhp, V12 Brabus 900 SUV – a modified Mercedes-AMG G65 and one of the most powerful SUV’s on the planet.

Withy upgraded braking, suspension and forged steel 23in wheels, the G-wagon accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 3.9 secondsup to a top speed of 270km/h.

Only ten exist and yours will cost a trifling $800,000 (€672, 580).

No word on the electric G-Wagon yet.

The Jaguar E-Type Zero – lighter and faster than the 1968 Series 1.5 Roadster on which it is modelled – has an all-electric (zero-emissions) engine capable of 0-100km/h in 5.5 seconds.

Other modifications by Jaguar Land Rover Classic include LED headlamps and revised instrumentation based on the original 1968 layout.

The prototype was unveiled in London last weekend to gauge interest in production and, presumably, remind customers that after 2020, Jaguar Land Rover will cease making petrol and diesel engined cars altogether.

Behold the all-new 7,541-piece Ultimate Collector’s Series Millennium Falcon – the biggest LEGO set ever.

With insane levels of detail, the ship can be configured to match its appearance in The Empire Strikes Back or the films of the latest trilogy and comes with ten minifigs from both periods, including old and young Han Solo.

If €799 seems a bit steep, it’s worth remembering that this set’s predecessor, released in 2007 (and with 2000 fewer pieces), regularly changes hands for over a grand on eBay..
