For the day that’s in it.

RTÉ’s promo ahead of Ireand versus Australia, the final game of the popular and often overpriced black stout series at Lansdowne Road Nua.

The rarest of creatures.

Tom McGurk’s inner monologue is unleashed:

Michael Cheika meets Joe Schmidt. It’s rugby’s rumble in the jungle, it’s fire against ice, it’s Cavaliers versus the Roundheads. Who will be Socrates and who will be Plato?

Needs more Honey Badger in fairness.

As part of the Irish Sports Council’s anti doping campaign ‘#blackmark’, sports creative Atomic Sports produced a literally slick awareness video.

Hugh Curran writes:

The discipline, talent and sheer effort that elite athletes put into their work is mind-blowing. That’s why it’s so crushing to fellow athletes, the sporting industry and the public when a doping scandal is uncovered. If the playing field isn’t fair, what’s the point in playing or even being a spectator? The Irish Sports Council work tirelessly to ensure Irish sport is clean.

True or anabolics?

Only you can decide.

A short film of the ‘Speed Of Light’ performance created for the grand depart of the Tour de France 2014 from Yorkshire last May.

Featuring hundreds of cyclists decked out in LED suits with illuminated bikes, the rolling choreography was a collaboration between public art collective NVA and Phoenix Dance Theatre.

For the week that’s in it.

A new series of tv commercials for a well known and usually overpriced black stout that reinforces the greatness of what can be achieved if we choose to defy expectation.

Hic.

Clare Conlon

Clare Conlon played with Raheny United [football] and helped them win the Women’s FAI Cup against UCD Waves in the Aviva Stadium Lansdowne Road Nua.

Clare then joined Sarsfields [GAA football]  (of Laois) to help them beat Na Fianna (of Dublin) in the Leinster Senior Football Final at Clane GAA Grounds, Co. Kildare.

Super human stuff in fairness.
