James Cramer – Simple Man.

Any skateboarders in?

Then you’ll dig James Cramer’s gritty new video. The singer with alt.folk trio Tupelo flew to Norway to record his debut solo single, with an album dropping later this year.

James has also collaborated with Hermitage Green, Eleanor McEvoy and Luan Parle.

Nick says: Skaters assemble.

“In the absence of any sport to watch or art galleries open (my life is a somewhat eclectic “Pastimes Venn Diagram”) I decided to entertain myself by combining both!

Have a sconce here.

Started two weeks ago and throwing 2-a-day up at the moment – have an interesting Conor McGregor one on the way!

Any decent suggestions in the readers comments will be brought to life! Cheers!”

In fairness.

Name those sporting moments and artworks anyone?

It may never happen.

I noticed this clever face mask when I was in a restaurant in Beijing [China] last year. They were being worn by the chefs, bar staff and waiters. I thought to myself, what a cool device, to avoid spreading germs (colds, flu, bugs etc) and viruses).

I further thought to myself, what if these were mandatory in every bar, cafe and restaurant together with latex gloves and regular handwashing? Could this reduce the spread of colds, infections and other bugs?

Also imagine if these were used in every supermarket, cafe and shop. I wonder how many lost work days would be saved?

Some of the 40 wonderful illustrations commissioned from Slovakian illustrator Peter Klúcik for an ill-fated 1990 reprint of JRR Tolkien’s ‘The Hobbit’ .

At that time, shortly after the fall of communism, the publishing house failed to adjust to the market economy, lost the rights and the book was never published.  though he was approached by other publishers in the years that followed, Klúcik became disillusioned with Middle Earth, saying “I have had it with illustrations. I am going to paint!” Which he still does.
