ARwear

How do you know the world is a terrible place?

Because this may soon be an actual thing that you can buy.

A line of ‘lockable underwear’ from ARWear, currently funding on Indiegogo, patent pending and still in development, anti-rape pants are shorts with cut-and-tear-resistant bands that prevent an unwanted assailant from removing them forcefully. Only the wearer can take them off by rotating two levers at specific angles at the front.

What you may need to know.

1. The Raid (2011) was the best action movie of the decade (thus far). Here’s the sequel.

2. Again, it’s directed by Indonesian-based Welshman Gareth Evans.

3. Evans did a segment of newly released horror anthology sequel V/H/S 2 (2013). It’s possibly the most indescribably intense bat-shit nuts thing ever. We’d recommend a gander.

4. Raid MVP Iko Uwais Joe Taslim turned up as a baddie in the last Fast And Furious flick. Unsurprisingly, he kicked everybody’s ass.

5. The first Raid was CRAZY. The second one looks EVEN CRAZIER. We’re down with that.
