Professor Brian MacCraith, chair of the Vaccine task force

This afternoon.

The task force, chaired by Professor Brian MacCraith, has been considering the deployment and administration of Covid vaccines.

The large-scale logistical operation will kick in early next year once vaccines have been approved by the European Medicines Agency.

GPs and pharmacists are likely to be involved in immunisations but mass vaccination clinics may also be required.

Nine ultra-low temperature freezer lorries have arrived in the country to assist in the rollout.

Vaccines will be free to everyone, and the taskforce is likely to recommend how records will be maintained.

The Government is also working on a communications plan to deal with people’s concerns and to combat misinformation…

Academic and Mother and Baby Home campaigner Maureen Considine (at top bottom left), of The Cork Survivors and Supporters Alliance, joined fellow activists Breeda Murphy (top left) and Eunan Duffy (bottom right) to discuss plans under consideration to build 246 apartments on land overlapping a possible children’s burial site linked to the former mother and baby home in Bessborough, Blackrock , County Cork.

An interim report by The Mother and Baby Home Commission found that some 900 children died in Bessborough or in hospital after being transferred from Bessborough.

It could only establish the burial place of some 64 children who died between 1922 and 1928 despite “very extensive inquiries and searches”.

However, along with witness testimonies, an early map of the land, discovered by Maureen, shows a ‘Children’s Burial site’ clearly marked.

This is the second in a series of shows looking at aspects of the Mother and Baby home regime ahead of publication of the report of the Commission of Investigation commencing the week of January 11.

Via Fox News:

House Republican Conference Chair Rep. Liz Cheney and Rep. Ken Buck on Friday are leading a group of 18 lawmakers in sponsoring a resolution in the House that backs efforts by President Trump regarding voter fraud.

The president’s most recent action includes a request to join the Texas lawsuit aiming to block four states’ presidential electors from casting their votes

The one-page resolution includes no “whereas” statements as most resolutions do. It moves directly to the resolution supporting the president and also condemns voter fraud, which Trump and his allies have said was more likely to happen in the presidential election because of significant expansions of mail-in voting.

Behold the 1930 Bentley Blower, or rather, the first of twelve such ‘continuation’ vehicles to be built by Bentley’s Mulliner Classic division from the original plans of Sir Henry ’Tim’ Birkin’s Le Mans 24 Hour Race winner.

Using Birkin’s original 90 year old tools and jigs along with detailed laser scans of the original car (which sold for £4.5 million back in 2012), each Continuation Blower will contain 1,846 handcrafted parts from small British firms, pluckily clinging to the past God bless ’em, as their country drifts off into an uncertain future.

Mmf.

All twelve vehicles are already spoken for.
