Well you’ve a nice way of showing it, that’s all.

I found this bracelet on Dublin Bus 145 yesterday evening under the incapacitated persons seat. It’s clearly engraved with Mum on one side and Nanny on the other, so is of sentimental value to somebody. I’ve kept hold of the bracelet as I figured I might have a better shot at reuniting it with its owners than Dublin Bus. I’ll be in the city centre Monday to Friday.

Nicolai Troshinsky

A nifty little short about the sensory experience of ‘being lost’ by Spanish animator Nicolai Troshinsky, who sez:

A boy, having lost his glasses, can only see one thing in focus at a time. His sight gets attracted by the sounds that surround him. He will have to explore a blurry world of unknown places and strange characters.”

I know you don’t normally do this….But, this little kitten arrived on our doorstep last night. Only about 6-8 weeks old, female and very friendly.

She sat on the step for hours crying to be let in. We took her in for the night but we can’t keep her (I’m allergic). Would love to return her to her rightful owner.

Lucan area, near Superquinn (or should I say SuperValu :/)

Anyone?

While out walking with her owner last night in Milltown park, Dublin 6, little Jess got spooked by something and ran off into the bushes. After 4 hours trying to find her, occasionally spotting her in the bushes along the Dodder bank on the lane that joins Milltown to O’Sheas pub on the Clonskea road, we were forced to give up – as it was 2am and pitch dark. If anyone sees her or has her, please let us know. She is a really friendly dog and very, very dear to her owner. We are very upset and have no idea what happened tonight.

NB – Thanks to all the passersby, neighbours and friends who came & tried help get her back. Thanks for any news.

She doesn’t even have a name.

I found a dog on Sunday [January 27] beside the Ringsend toll bridge (East link) on the south side. We’ve been looking after her since then. The vet says she is probably about 2 years old and really well looked after but they don’t know her. We rang the gardai, the pound and the DSPCA and put ads up everywhere we can online, including lost.ie. We’ve also put posters up all around and talked to people in the area in case someone recognised her.

She really is a lovely well behaved dog and very well trained. She’s cuddly and affectionate and must be missing her family, and they her.We really can’t keep her because of where we live though we’d love to. The best thing for her would be to find her family again.

Any help you can give us in tracking down her family would be really great.  Her owner might not be online much but she is such a friendly memorable dog that someone may recognise her.

Anyone?
