Seems like zero-craic, soulless 800-pub chain Wetherspoons are looking to move into Ireland. Hopefully not the start of a UK-style shitty chain pub take over.

Manhandled in Dublin.

Clare Breen writes:

My beautiful bike ‘Brigitte’ was stolen from outside 8 Seville Place, Dublin 1. She’s been stolen before and I found her in town with the help of some friends and claimed her back. She was assembled in Germany by a dear friend, travelled over to Dublin and has lived here for the last 3 years.

She’s been in a film, an exhibition and helped out many people out of tight spots. We love her very much and want her back. Please keep an eye out, she’s pretty unmissable. Fabulous, pink, backpedalbraking beauty.

Anyone?

Hiding in plain sight, the photograph skims across the skin of reality.

Yes indeed.

The short film Noah by first time filmmakers Walter Woodman and Patrick Cederberg plays out entirely on a teenager’s computer screen.

Shortlisted for the 2013 Toronto Film Festival, it’s a thoroughly modern tale of suspicion, betrayal and heartbreak in which the eponymous hero’s love life takes a sudden turn for the worse as he multitasks online.

It might be of interest to some people on the site and for any parents looking for something different to do with the kids tomorrow.

If you can put it up on the site, that would be cool. I’m not involved with Archery Ireland  but I used to shoot :) and they are brutal at letting people know about this small but vibrant (and very friendly) community in Ireland.
