How much?

Up to a couple of weeks ago, a pot of tea capable of filling two mugs, in what used to be Toughers well known filling station, cum truck stop diner, outside Newbridge in County Kildare, cost €1.25.
Since the station was taken over by Top Oil, the coffee franchise Insomnia now runs the cafe and a single mug of tea costs €2.20. Two mugs of tea now cost you €4.40 as opposed to €1.25. Is this the start of a new merry-go-round of rising prices, set to wreck any positive outcome from the sacrifices which the Irish public have endured for the last five years?
Of course it is.
Anyone?

[Denis O’Brien: a very cool guy with great hair]
We have removed the post headlined ‘Faucet, We Don’t Have A Chance’ after solicitors acting for Denis O’Brien this afternoon strongly requested we (and our hosting company) do so by 5pm.
We will keep you posted on any ‘developments’. Sorry for this and the sporadic postage during the last couple of hours. Everything is going to be alright.

[Gabriel Byrne, top] as Earl Haroldson In Vikings
Anne-Louise Foley writes:
[Vikings] begins in 8th century Scandinavia where Ragnar Lothbrok is a warrior and a farmer who dreams of finding riches by bucking the tradition of raiding to the east. Ragnar has been working in secret on a project that will turn the Viking world on its head. But first Ragnar must convince the leader of his community, the powerful Earl Haraldson (Gabriel Byrne) who is none too happy to share in the renown that this journey could bring to Ragnar if it’s successful.
