Eight years after Jaguar Land Rover launched its chopped urban SUV, the Evoque is getting a full makeover (‘only the door hinges remain unchanged’ says the maker).

Aside from tweaks to the chassis and multiple interior refinements, the most notable features are a ‘Clear Sight’ rear mirror that turns into a HD video screen and ‘Ground View technology’ that lets the driver see ‘though’ the bonnet to gauge the position of curbs and parked cars.

Based on the Aventador but combining aerodynamic elements from various versions of the Huracán, this is a 759 horsepower 6.5-litre V12 road-legal track machine riding on 21 inch rears and 20 inch front wheels with a stitched black and red leather interior by Lamborghini’s Centro Stile.

Behold: the 1959 Lister-Jaguar ‘Knobbly’ – one of the most successful race cars of its era, combing a Jaguar straight-six engine and drivetrain with a lightweight tube-framed chassis designed by Lister, Jaguar’s motorsports partner.

This particular car – whose documents list 53 podium finishes, including 29 firsts, 15 seconds and 9 thirds – has been meticulously maintained and remains (vintage) race ready.

Yours for a mere €2,500,000 – €3,100,000.
