You may recall Friday’s Dine in Dublin festival competition?

Voting for the winner of the craft beer tasting night TONIGHT with Cameron Wallace of Cork’s Eight Degrees Brewery at the Gotham Cafe in Dublin was unanimous.

Derdiedas: “I deserve the Dine in Dublin craft beer event tickets particularly after the week I’ve had where I finished a contract (so I’m now unemployed), had a contract cancelled (Yay, more unemployment!!) and I found out I need to get two teeth extracted. That’ll happen on Tuesday. I won’t be able to eat for three days afterward so that tasty Gotham ‘za could be a last supper of sorts.”

Thanks all.

Guitarist Randy Bachman (even he, in a 2011 clip from his radio show) deconstructs the mysterious opening clang of the Beatle’s 1964 hit.

We always thought it was an A polytriad ii7/V in Ab major.

Over 600 attended over the night and everyone had a ball.”

“Next up on March 6th we proudly present a night dedicated to Prince and the very lovely Purple Rain. Newstalk reports:

“Up to seven members of staff were involved in an incident in a children’s care home [for children aged ten to 17] in which a child was handcuffed to restrain them.”

“The incident is documented in a HIQA inspection report into Trinity House and Oberstown boys and girls detention centres, all of which are located on the one premises.”

“The inspection also found that one child was “locked into a room for 83 hours 45 minutes, over a four-day period, including sleeping hours.”

Overall the report found that the centre complied with one of ten standards assessed, and required improvement in six areas. No standards were exceeded.”
