What on earth is happening in Louth?
John Cully writes:
“To look more closely at how Ireland is using Twitter, Bank of Ireland commissioned digital agency Eightytwenty to conduct research on all Irish Tweets that included location information. The results showed a dramatic difference in regional distribution: the people of Louth are six times more active on Twitter than Longford.Louth natives have been busy on Twitter topping the list by some distance with 6,688 tweets for every 1,000 people in the county followed by Waterford (5,096 tweets), Monaghan (4,530 tweets) and Dublin (4,461 tweets).”

Once a year during the 1970s and 1980s UK football magazine Shoot! generously featured the League of Ireland champions of the day.
Usually one page with poorly taken team shot above a typo-stuffed caption.
Good times.
Name those years (above) anyone?

Thanks for putting up our pic yesterday from Cannes. I wasn’t kidding when I said there would be madness later on. Monday night was mental in Cannes I enclose the proof!

Fupp YES! NEVER
We have TWO ‘posh’ seats to give away for Friday night’s game in the RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin to see Leinster play Zebre.
Sadly It may be Brian-less.
Aaron informs us:
“I can’t see any of the lads [Irish team members] being in the squad, Brian O’Driscoll probably will be just sitting in the stands. Madigan may start though.. O’Driscoll will be starting v Toulon (down there) in the HCUP beside the fresh faced Dorce on April 6th – he should play his last game in May for Leinster.”
HOWEVER.
“The Zebre game is a great chance to catch a glimpse of how life after Brian will look. Also It’s an early K.O. (after work pints will never taste as good).”
For a chance to win the tickets just complete this sentence:
