“I know you don’t normally do this but Poppy (above) has escaped from Palmerston Park in Rathmines [Dublin 6]. Can anyone let us know if they have seen or found her? She’s very small and very nervous and ran away from a truck in the park.”
UPDATE: Poppy located.
The proprietor of a well known B&B in Westport town has described as ‘a mystery’ how eight of nine goldfish he owned have gone missing from the fountain outside his home.
The eight fish, of varying shapes and sizes, went missing in the early hours of last Tuesday morning and have since failed to turn up. The fish left behind has since died.
Shy and missing.

Millie is a beautiful cocker spaniel who has been missing from Baltrasna in the Ratoath/Ashbourne area of Co. Meath since around 9pm on Wednesday night. Could you help us find her? She is very shy and nervous so please be careful if you see her and approach her. She may be bunkered down somewhere so please check trees, bushes and outhouses. She is microchipped, neutered and collared. Millie is a rescue dog and we desperately want her home. We will pay a reward for anyone that finds her.
Jess is a four-year-old female, chocolate brown and white Collie, who’s just had a litter of pups.
She’s been missing from Herbert Road in Bray, Co. Wicklow, since Monday, June 15, and her owners fear she’s been stolen.
Doggies Little Helper writes:
“Jess was feeding a litter of pups at time she went missing (following a vet appointment to treat infection arising from nursing pups, she needs medication for this). Her owner looked for her immediately and continuously and as she has not been found or seen and was not run over, we now consider her to have been taken/stolen. She is much loved by her human family (including a heartbroken child) and needed by her litter of pups. If you can help locate her please call her owner at 086 348 0234. If you are offered this dog for sale please contact Bray Gardai 01 666 5300. Somebody has this dog or knows where she is. Please help.”

“Mons was last seen in the Ballytunney road, in Britta’s Bay area, in Co. Wicklow. He is very stubborn and barks for everything which makes him look a bit vicious… but he’s not, he’s a very loving dog, it’s just his way of communicating.”

My good friend Michelle has lost her Yorkshire Terrier, called Cali, in the Chapelizod area. She’s been missing since around midday today. Cali is Shel’s best mate and companion and she will be devastated without her. I’m in Australia and can’t do anything to help so I thought I could at least try and spread the word! Thanks!

“We would like to say a special thank you to Sonya Leech who spotted Bijou on our Facebook page yesterday evening (Wednesday) after recognising him from an earlier post that Mary posted back in early August. We can’t stress how important it is to microchip your pet.”
