I have recently entered a design competition in the UK called delight in light. The competition features an online vote for the shortlist and then a judging event as part of London Design Week and a first place prize of £1000.
I have just finished the 4 year product design degree in DIT [Dublin Institute of Technology] and the project I entered is a task lamp that I have been working on since it started as a design project in college.

Redditor and colorisation expert thehatersalad responds to a request from fellow Redditor f2ISO100 to fix a damaged picture of her 83 year-old grandmother – not only restoring and colourising the 60 year old photo, but also documenting the entire two and a half hour process in timelapse (deeply satisfying if you’re any class of a neat-freak.)
‘I don’t know what kind of emotion you hope to elicit with these,’ wrote a clearly stunned f2ISO100 on receipt of the restored photo, ‘but you made me catch my breath. I feel — for the first time — like I got to see her, back in time. This is so, so beautiful. Thank you so much!”

Just a little note of warning to anyone using Drury Street Bike Car Park.. I just witnessed a guy with a bolt cutters trying to get the lock off a bike at lunch time today. Luckily he was disturbed and ran away. Worth noting though that They obviously have their eye on the place.
