Behold: John Wick’s Ford Mustang Mach 1 Coupe – or rather, one of an upcoming series of officially approved facsimiles of same. Also known as ‘The Hitman’, the car will be produced by Oklahoma based Classic Restorations. Customers can select an original 1969/70 Mach 1 body (or a newer reproduction, if desired) containing a 1000bhp 5-litre Coyote V8 with Boss 302 intake.

Available to preorder for €156,000 plus whatever it costs to get it from Oklahoma.

Behold: the 1967 Toyota 2000GT Coupe. Heavily influenced by the E-type Jag, and something of a radical departure from Toyota’s (at the time) staid and reliable stable, the roadster version of this car was James Bond’s vehicle of choice in ‘You Only Live Twice’ (1967).

This vehicle – owned for 20 years by American racing driver Otto Linton – is one of only 62 left hand drive variants produced for the US market and is currently accepting bids.

Behold: the 1988 Italdesign Aztec Coupe – not to be confused with that other infamous Aztec, Walter White’s Pontiac.

Based on Giorgetto Giugiaro’s 1988 Turin Motor Show prototype and slated for an initial production run of 50, only 18 were ever made – each fitted with external key-code diagnostics and service area access, powered by a turbocharged Audi 2.2-litre inline-five engine and married to a Lancia all-wheel-drive system.

Say what you like about the Captain Scarlet styling, the Aztec’s twin-bubble, split cockpit is – at the very least – ideal for dysfunctional couples.

Yours for €69,000+.

A rather excellent rotary mobile made by scientist/engineer Justine Haupt as a “statement against a world of touchscreens, hyperconnectivity, and complacency with big brother watchdogs.” Sez she:

it’s not just a show-and-tell piece… My intent is to use it as my primary phone. It fits in a pocket.; It’s reasonably compact; calling the people I most often call is faster than with my old phone, and the battery lasts almost 24 hours.

She’s open sourced the technical details on her website so you can build your own if you’re that way inclined.

Behold: the Tuatara – all all-American hypercar from Washington-based Shelby SuperCars.

The slippy, low drag profile combined with an utterly over the top 5.9 litre, twin turbo V8 cranking out 1,750bhp, delivers a top speed just shy of 500km/h.

And that’s the point of it, because the Tuatara is now poised to reclaim the title of ‘World’s Fastest Production Car’ for SSC – bragging rights previously held by the SSC Ultimate Aero from 2007-2010.

Only 100 will be built and when the dust settles, yours will cost €1.5 million.
