Behold: the Aston Martin Valhalla – stablemate to Aston Martin’s Valkyrie hypercar with a modified AMG Black hybrid drivetrain combining a V8 petrol engine and two electric motors.

All this generates 937bhp, a 100km/h time of 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 350km/h.

Active all-wheel-drive can put up to 100% of the electric motors’ output to either the front or rear axle of a car whose chassis and  aerodynamic design were developed in collaboration with the Red Bull F1 team and legendary engineer Adrian Newey.

Price unconfirmed but rumoured to be around €675,000.

Behold: the LyteHorse ATV – originally designed as a golf corse caddy vehicle, now redesigned as the world’s first all-electric stand-up All Terrain Vehicle.

With a top speed of about 65km’h and 130km of range on a full charge, the LyteHorse can carry 362kg of weight and tow up to 1.3 tonnes.

Available to pre-order with a slew of optional extras including rifle and gun racks, extended range battery options, all-terrain, off-road, and bulletproof tires, emergency lighting, winches, jump-seats, multi-use hitches, speakers, surfboard racks, and auxiliary lights.

Yours (in the US) from $9,997 (about €8,500).

Behold: what will soon be the world’s largest tropical greenhouse under one roof. Unveiled at the 2021 Venice Architecture Biennale, the vast Tropicalia (35m tall at its highest point) is planned for Northern France’s Côte d’Opale and is set to be completed by 2024. To wit:

Tropicalia will provide a unique tropical greenhouse experience with a regular temperature of just under 80°F (26°C). It will feature both tropical plants and fauna such as fish, reptiles, birds, and butterflies. This man-made ecosystem will take up over 200,000 square feet of land and is enclosed by a massive dome.

Behold: the the Lamborghini Miura SVJ.

Only four of these were ever built, making this vehicle something of ‘Holy Grail’ as the only Super Veloce Jota to come up for sale since the early 1970s.

A high performance variant of the already nippy Rod Stewartmobile, the 300km/h SVJ has a 418bhp V12 engine, an aeronautical aluminium alloy body, track-grade suspension and brakes. Originally sold to Corsican real estate developer Paul Ferrandi, it has has undergone a world class restoration by Carrozzeria Cremonini and Top Motors.

Price – as you’d expect – by request.

Behold: the dreamlike sculptural forms (in polyester, nylon, and cotton) of Japanese artist and designer Mariko Kusumoto – standalone objects and wearables formed using a proprietary heat setting process to create undulating ripples, coral bubbles and honeycombs filled with mushrooms, rosettes, animals and miniature bicycles.

Behold: the BMW CE 04 – virtually unchanged from last year’s concept – now set for actual production in 2022.

Designed as a nippy urban commuter bike with a 42bhp electric drivetrain, it’ll do 120km/h with a 130km range. There’s a 26cm TFT screen for navigation and connectivity and a vented USB-C charging compartment for mobile devices.
