Filmmaker Gerard Walsh (he’s 23, you know. Twenty three…) sez:

You guys were awesome enough a few months ago to share a trailer for my short film “Bound” and the interest really soared in the film. I just won best short film at the Fingal Film Festival [Wednesday] night with this new short called “Is This It?”

G’wan the Gerard!

I would also love to tell people about a short film night I have recently taken over at the Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield. It’s all for charity and the past couple of times we have held it we raised over 1500 euro for The Capuchin Day Centre for the Homeless.

Vin Diesel reprises his role as the antihero with the polished eyeballs, first seen in Pitch Black (2000) and reprised in The Chronicles Of Riddick (2004)

What is it with this guy and sequels?

It’s ridic.

Ridic.

Never mind.

A phantasmagorical, effects-laden, multi award-winning 2010 short by writer, director and VFX whizz Brent Bonacorso who sez of it:

Loosely based on several hundred interviews with children about their dreams, ‘West of the Moon’ is the story of one man’s lost love and his strange path to redemption, aided along the way by a gambling robot, a wayward monkey, and a healthy dose of determination.
