The first episode of the new series of Room to Improve starts Sunday, at 9.30pm on RTÉ One.

Gareth Naughton writes:

Country music legend Daniel O’Donnell and his wife Majella share a large four-bed detached home in Kincasslagh, west Donegal. Unlike Daniel, who’s fairly happy with the place, Majella is keen to upgrade and reconfigure the interior. With her husband on tour, she’s determined to get the very best from her architect.

Hosts Tony Groves (left) and Martin McMahon (centre) welcomes the Green Party’s Peter Kavanagh (right) in to the ‘tortoise shack’.

Martin writes:-

The government lost the vote and the PBP Climate Emergency bill was passed. So it was a great opportunity to be joined by Peter, a Green Party candidate for Dublin Mid West and Head of Communications and Public Affairs with Active Retirement Ireland.

We talk about what a Green Economy might look like; getting over the wind farm objections, the colonial mind-set and Peter’s work with the elderly….

I know you don’t normally do this….. I somehow managed to lose a watch on Friday, from my wrist that I’d obviously not fastened properly as it had been annoying me.

T’was a Garmin Vivoactive HR watch, like the one pictured above.

Lost around Sir John Rogerson Quay at about 12.30. Went back twice to look but it just was nowhere to be seen. Asked in a few places too. Please, if someone found it can you forward them on to me. I’ll be nicer in the comments section

Anyone?
