Any of your readers have any opinion on the story (above). This car park was notorious for clamping cars.
Is it tough luck for people who were clamped and had to pay release fees or are they entitled to look for money back considering the car park did not have permission to operate as a commercial car park?

RTE reports:
A teenager from Drogheda is to give the Taoiseach a graphic account of the everyday racism she experiences in Ireland.
Joella Dhlamini, who is originally from South Africa, was chosen by UNICEF to represent the views of the children of Ireland after she entered a competition to describe the one change for children she would like to see.
The teenager, who was born in Soweto, in Johannesburg, wrote about the racist abuse she and her family have encountered since moving to Ireland three years ago.

He explained: “I think it’s the second or third time that the Tory press have had a go at me – which is interesting because, here in Ireland, the left and others accuse me of being a Tory.

Dublin Cycling Campaign writes:
“In the past week two more people lost their lives while cycling on Irish roads, bringing the total number of cyclists killed in 2017 to 14. That is four more than were killed in all of 2016, and it makes 2017 the deadliest year for cyclists in over a decade.
“We are sick and tired of the inaction by government, both local and national, when it comes to cyclists’ safety. We have been calling for increased funding and resources for cycling, but those calls have fallen on deaf ears, and cyclists continue to be killed as a result.
“[Tomorrow], we are joining forces with our colleagues from I BIKE Dublin, Stayin’ Alive at 1.5, Cyclist.ie – The Irish Cycling Advocacy Network to let the Government know that the issue of cyclists’ safety can no longer be ignored.
“Join us from 5.30pm as we hold a vigil and demonstration in memory of the people killed while cycling on Irish roads.”
