died-1 died-3 died-2

A contribution to the biannual Sculpture By The Sea festival at Arhaus in Denmark by Swedish artist Susanna Hesselberg.

Entitled “When My Father Died It Was Like a Whole Library Had Burned Down,” the plummeting bookshelves are an allusion to the feeling of loss felt by the artist at the loss of her father.

Nialler9 writes;

Block T are one of the few organisations who continue to independently run their own permanent space for creativity and artists out of Smithfield Square.
Their fifth birthday on Francis Street also serves as a fundraiser for them and pitching in on the music end are the cream of Irish music including Lasertom, I Am The Cosmos, 90s cover band Attention Bebe, Rusangano Family, Trinity Orchestra, Donal Dineen, Bantum, RiZA and SignA. Plus DJs outside for the sunny weekend including Adultrock, Rob Le Nan and myself (happy to be an event partner on this gig too).
The all day party also includes visuals from Slipdraft, along with food stalls and other goodies….

What you may need to know:

1. Apollo Creed’s son Adonis Johnson joins the fight game and seeks the help of Philly’s number one son, Rocky.

4. Creed is played by Michael B. Jordan, the second most famous Michael Jordan, of the critically acclaimed Fruitvale Station (2013) and Chronicle (2012). Jordan is also doing a turn in the new Fantastic Four (2015) flick as Johnny Storm.
