I’m a Eurovision nut, have a basic understanding of Electronic music from messing around with audio production programmes, but I do have this silly dream.

I have always wanted to write a song (am good with lyrics), to write something cheesy but “poppy” to enter.

I have been on the Eurovision jury, been to the Eurovision and have teamed up with songwriters before to submit entries but looking to give it a good go this time. Anyone interested can contact me below or via broadsheet@broadsheet.ie.

Anyone?

25thThe people at Urbun, Old Bray Road, Cabinteely, Co Dublin are opening their doors on Xmas day.

For YOU.

Join them.

Katie Gilroy, Urbun writes:

We’re running a unique pop-up event at Urbun Cafe on December 25 called Christmas Cracker. From 4pm we’re inviting those who may not get to (or want to) see their own families over the holidays to come join the Urbun family for a savage four course feast and a merry aul time.

We’ve teamed up with Eight Twenty Cabs who are offering guests a discount on their journey to and from the venue if they pre-book with them the day before, so travelling on the day will be hassle-free.

Seeing as many of your readers are  non-conformist, anti-traditional types who seem up the craic we thought we’d offer a PAIR of tickets to the event in exchange for a bit of banter and THREE reasons why they should ditch their families this Christmas...

We hate to think of anyone sitting at home alone on what can be the loneliest day of the year if you’re not surrounded by the people you love, so hopefully two deserving individuals will benefit from this.

Only THREE?

Anyone?

They spent the night socialising in the city centre before two of the men split from the group and, it is claimed, went searching for a brothel in the Catherine Street area.
One man, who lives in the area, was on his way home when the officers are said to have mistaken his residence for a brothel. As the man opened his front door, the two off-duty officers tried to enter the building and ‘demanded to be taken to prostitutes’.

So demanding.
