No, not a spoof viral for an upcoming zombie apocalypse flick but the gleeful and terrifying promo for armament developer G2 Research’s new and highly controversial Radically Invasive Projectile, the G2 RIP, released early this year – a bullet featuring tiny knife-like ‘trocars’ that penetrate and shred flesh.

Initially marketed at women in the home as a ‘one-shot man-stopper’, it’s designed to take out ‘all vital organs’, creating a massive exit wound in the process.

The gun did explode on a second firing with a higher caliber bullet.

Nothing to worry about.

The new slow motion gorefest Red Band trailer for Dredd premiered at San Diego Comic Con this week.

As Quint on Ain’t It Cool News put it:

“You can say many things about this movie, but tame is not a word you’ll see associated with it,” and “If you’ve ever wanted to see what a bullet going through a dude’s jaw looked like in slow motion, then by God ‘Dredd’s’ the movie for you!”

Dredd’s the movie for us.

Recently discovered artefact from the 19th century.

Two bullets, one French and one Russian, collided in the middle of a firefight.
It’s like a David Blaine trick, only real.

As the man says: How dense does a fire-fight have to get before this can happen?
