I know you don’t normally do this but my precious bike that has been a loyal servant to me through hail and sun on my daily commute was stolen yesterday evening.
It was taken from outside Java Bay [popular Stoneybatter café] on Manor Street, in usually wonderful, Dublin 7 some time between 6.15 and 7.45pm.
It is a very distinctive orange KTM mountain bike with three week new thin road tyres and a two-week new rear mudguard. I would be indebted to any of your dear readers to get in touch if they happen upon it.

“I know you don’t normally do this but I left a pair of Bose headphones in a Dublin Bike basket that I parked on Herbert Street, Dublin 2, this morning at around 11am. They were a gift and I would love to try and recover them. They are black and in a black Bose bag. Any help would be massively appreciated. Thanks.”

My bike was stolen yesterday from outside my house in Glasnevin, Dublin. I had left it for about 20 seconds while I opened the garage and it was gone, I ran after the guy but he was on a bike, and I was not.
It was a Dawes Discovery 101 Men’s Hyrbid which was white when I bought it (2 1/2 years ago) but I had covered it in silver duct tape, green spray paint, black and white checkered tape and green, black, red and yellow electrical tape – to try and deter thieves. It also had an Abus U lock attached to it, a black rack, one mudguard (spray painted teal) on the back wheel, and some purple duct tape covering a tear on the seat. It wasn’t the most inconspicuous bike to steal by any means.
I’ve attached a photo of what it looked like when it was stolen (top) and when I bought it (above), it could be somewhere between the two now. I mostly want to get it back so that the bike thieves don’t win. Any help you could give me would be fantastic.

I know you don’t normally do this but my bike was stolen today at Connolly Station, where the Luas line ends. It’s a Giant Avail ladies bike. The drop-down handlebars are marked with some red from my red cycling gloves. It’s silver & blue as you can see and has a water holder. Keep your eyes peeled even on sites like Gumtree, etc.

Long shot, but if you could appeal to readers, if they know any folk who were in IKEA [St Margaret’s Rd, Ballymun, Dublin 11] between 7.15–8.15 last night who may have happened to find some art prints, a photo and some gift cards could they let me know.
We don’t care about the vouchers, but the prints have a lot of sentimental value and similar to one of these by Esther Breslin. I’ve contacted the artist too just in case. One of the pictures is of a cat flushing itself down a toilet.
