From a collection by New York based designer Sebastian Errazuriz entitled 12 Shoes For 12 Lovers – a dozen shoes inspired by the personality of the artist’s former lovers, accompanied (on his site) with a short, often explicit biog of the affair and the idiosyncrasies of each woman.
Stage Of Mind – an exhibition of photographs by Korean artist Jee Young Lee, who transforms her tiny 3.6 x 4.1 x 2.4-meter studio in Seoul into elaborate dioramas inspired by her personal life and old Korean fables.
Lee works without Photoshop and with such attention to minute detail that the dioramas (in which she features herself) often take months to finish.
Stage Of Mind is on display at the OPIOM Gallery in Opio, France from February 7 to March 7 next year.
Daydream V.02 by Nonotak Studio (Noemi Schipfer and Takami Nakamoto) is a ‘space distorting’ audiovisual installation. Nonotak sez of it:
Relationship between space and time, accelerations, contractions, shifts and metamorphosis have been the lexical field of the project. This installation aimed at establishing a physical connection between the virtual space and the real space, blurring the limits and submerging the audience into a short detachment from reality. Lights generate abstract spaces while sounds define the echoes of virtual spaces. Daydream is an invitation to contemplation. The frontality of the installation leads the visitors to a passive position.
