What you may need to know:

1. A gambling addict relocates to Las Vegas where he takes on private security jobs to fund his habit. He gets involved with the mafia when he tries to seek revenge on behalf of a victim of a viscous assault.

2. It’s a remake of the Burt Reynold’s flick Heat (1986). They are using the same script so brush up on your ’80s references.

3. The original film was not great. It had six directors. This one is not being directed by Brian De Palma but it almost was.

4. Jason Statham knows how to kicks ass. He could have done with a bit of that here.

5. Michael Angarano knows how to write great sci-fi.

6. Broadsheet Prognosis: No mo’ no problems.

Release Date: January 30, 2015

(Delboy is playing gin rummy at an undisclosed location. Dylan is Tom Dillon, our farming, film and social media boss man)

People in the queue who didn’t wish to be identified said that many camp from as early as 1am with children only to be told that there are no more tickets and that they must come back another day. Some people said that many (though I was unable to verify this)  are seeking a visa enabling them to return to their country of origin to visit family…
