What you really need to know
–
1. The last Wolverine film was what we politely like to call a good bad movie.

2. This one takes place after the third X-Men flick, The Last Stand (2006), which was what we politely like to call a turd.

3. It’s loosely inspired by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller’s classic Wolverine comic book mini series.

4. It’s all about the dodgy green screen fight sequences. Very Roger Moore-era Bond.

5. Jackman’s finest Wolverine moment to date? His three word cameo in X-Men: First Class (2011).

6. Is it just us, or do you keep expecting him to burst into song?

7. Wolverine’s back in action in next year’s X-Men: Days Of Future Past (2014), whereupon original X-director Bryan Singer attempts to amalgamate the entire X-Men movie universe to date. Good luck with that.

I am working on a project with Depaul Ireland, a Homeless charity that provides accommodation and key services to people who others have given up on, those with behavioural, self-harm and addiction problems. We plan to cultivate a series of small pop-up gardens to be planted in different locations across Dublin city throughout the spring.
The gardens aim to transform their surroundings into brighter, cheerful areas for the public. Gardens placed in dull and dark areas of the city in disrepair, that could benefit from brightening up. This idea, coinciding with the clocks going forward, is to mark the launch of Depaul Ireland’s “Brightening Up Dark Situations” campaign.
