gais

“I just received a text purporting to be from Bord Gáis in relation to outstanding bill. The number provided is 1850 787 785 and the website for the terms and conditions is listed as  bge.ie. Trying bge.ie website does not appear to be working (for me at least, while all Google searches lead to bordgais.ie/bordgaisenergy.ie), while I can’t find any reference to the above listed number on any of Bord Gáis official pages. Has anyone else received a similar text and/or know whether same is legit or scam?”

Anyone?

Brothers Diarmuid and Brían Mac Gloinn – known as Ye Vagabonds – performing the Scottish ballad, Willie O Winsbury.

They call into Arbour Hill Music Shop in Stoneybatter [Dublin]  – a  former haunt of Beatle George Harrison – and meet owner Peter, above, who started the shop (originally selling potatoes and gas) over 40 years ago.

Ye Vagabonds play Walsh’s pub in Stoneybatter every Monday night.

The Arbour Hill Music Shop is open every Saturday.

The Cliff House design concept by Australian architects Modscape.

Vertically stacked modules (inspired by, eh, ‘barnacles’) suspended on  a sheer face, anchored by steel pins with a parking bay on top and an open barbeque/jaccuzi deck on the bottom level.

A wonderful addition to any scenic seacliff location.

“This passport was handed in at the desk in DIT Library in Cathal Brugha Street yesterday. Paddy’s not a student here it seems so we’ve no way of contacting him. If he sees this post, or anyone that knows him does, he can collect from the desk in the library. Otherwise we’ll drop it into Pearse St. Garda station during the week. Thanks.”
