Behold : the Jet Capsule Royal Version 001 motorboat – 8m long, fully enclosed with a bathroom, wet bar and leather seats for nine passengers.

Nice.

Bigger and more luxurious than its already fairly luxurious predecessor, the Jet Capsule comes in various configurations with single or dual Yanmar diesel engines paired with a Rolls Royce jet drive. Top speed is a very nippy 62 knots but for leisurely cruising, two Torqeedo electric engines spin the boat along at a more environmentally sensitive 12 knots.

Yours for about €250,000.

AHOY much?, etc.

Yours for a trifling €2,650,000+.

Patriotique, non?

Behold: the 1964 Porsche 911 (originally launched as the 901 until Peugeot enforced its ownership of that designation) – the fourth production model ever to wear the 911 badge.

Fully restored after passing through the hands of three owners in the last 55 years (one of whom configured the car for racing), this rare piece of Porsche history is up for auction at Sothebys today for between €600,000 and €800,000.
