Behold: the 1964 Ferrari 275 GTB. Only 250 were made but this – the prototype – was the first.

Fully restored with the modified ‘long nose’ hood, rally lights and ‘prototype yellow’ paintwork  it wore in the 1966 Monte Carlo Rally, this one-of-a-kind icon of Ferrari race history can be yours for a trifling €5.23 million+.

Behold: Robert Redford’s old1964 Porsche 904 GTS.

The actor drove the car for ten years before passing it on to a new owner who replaced the engine with a 2 litre 911 flat six (an upgrade carried out on the last 904’s by Porsche itself). Currently up for auction, fully documented with its original bodywork, chassis and trans axle.

Yours for €1.23 million.

Behold: the Aviar R67 – a conceptual all electric version of the 1967 Ford Mustang by Russian startup company Aviar.

The company claims a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 2.2 seconds and a 480km range with all-wheel drive, a carbon fibre chassis (mimicking the original first generation muscle car) and a lightweight custom tubular aluminium subframe.

It may never make it to production, but still.

The Valpelline Bivouac –  an alpine shelter on a rocky peak in Italy’s Morion ridge – prefabricated offsite and dropped into place by helicopter.

Made from composite wooden panels and steel, anchored to the rock by cables, it offers a base for climbers trekking over the ridge, with cooking facilities, storage and stunning views of Becca di Luseney, Monte Rosa, and the Matterhorn.
