The Aposematic jacket, according to its creator Shinseungback Kimyonghun is a:

‘wearable camera for self-defense. The lenses on the jacket give off the warning signal, “I can record you”, to prevent possible attack. When the wearer pushes a button under threat, the jacket records the scene in 360 degrees and sends the images to the Web.’

Subtle.

“I think there are fundamental differences between Fianna Fail and Fine Gail. The concentration by Fine Gael is on the better off in society, reducing taxation for the better off at the expense for the less well off in society.”

In fairness.

Much-married, milk-bottle spectacles-adorned soap queen Anne Kirkbride (‘Deedreee Barlow’) who has died at 60.

Rivals Mike Baldwin and Ken Barlow and unfortunate toyboy Rachid were among many who fell for drama magnet Deirdre’s pre-laser surgery, wide-framed, and, frankly, puzzling charms.

Colm McGinchey writes:

We’ve been running our comedy show in The Stag’s Head [Dame Court, Dublin 2] every Sunday and Monday for several years now (yesterday we celebrated our 500th show) and are expanding to a new night on Tuesdays, starting tonight with the brilliant Totally Wired headlining :)

We’re TripAdvisor recommended (#1 for nightlife in Dublin, only losing out on #1 for overall attractions due to those pesky GAA suits) and hugely popular with tourists and locals alike.

Lots of Broadsheet readers already attend regularly and can vouch for the quality of the show and yep the rumours are true; it’s free in and you get free ice-cream too!

So if you’re in Dublin tonight and want a quality night’s entertainment drop into The Stag’s Head. We open the doors at 8:15pm the show starts at 9pm.

Last night.

Domhnall Gleeson and Alex Garland, star and director of robotic thriller Ex-Machina (2015) at the movie’s Irish premiere in the IFI, Temple Bar, Dublin.

Domhnall plays a coder who is “selected to participate in an experiment by evaluating the human qualities of a breakthrough in artificial intelligence”.

Same thing happened Karl.
