From Swedish graphic designer Kalle Mattsson’s utterly wonderful Buffalo Bill Gates Tumblr, wherein entertaining celebrity face mashups are accompanied by equally entertaining portmanteau names.
Yes, he misspelled Schwarzenegger. No, it doesn’t really matter.
Carol Keogh, formerly of The Plague Monkeys and one of the great underappreciated talents in Irish music, plays Whelan’s [Camden Street, Dublin] tomorrow night. It is the launch of Carol’s beautiful new album Mongrel City which, with titles such as ‘Forty Foot’, ‘Grand Parade’ and ‘Limbo Estate’, ring some of the cultural and political changes that the city, and the country, has been through in recent times.
Band members were Romy, Dave Hingerty (The Frames), Elton Mullally (The Tightrope Walkers), Martin Moran (The Tightrope Walkers) and composer, Colin J Morris and guests included Colm Mac Con Iomaire and Bill Blackmore, who provided string and brass arrangements for a little touch of symphony.
Paedophiles in Ireland will pair up to apply for Irish marriage licences and adopt children.
Paedophiles will move into Ireland and gain residence here from all over the world, plenty already have. And we have enough of our own home grown , not all in the church – in fact there was ever only a minority there!
They will have everything organised through their paedophile rings here in Ireland and worldwide. This is the downside of the proposals to get marriage for gays in the upcoming referendum in the Spring. The paedos can pose as innocent gay people wanting to marry , get married and then apply for babies to the Adoption Board. They can then groom such kids as their sexual slaves over their lifetimes. It’s simply too horrible to contemplate, let alone to describe and write about.
…So here we are facing the prospect of horrific sexual slavery for many children in Ireland, only this time blessed by the State and by the people in upcoming referendum . The referendum will trigger legislation that cannot exclude anybody from marriage on any grounds whatsoever.
The law is indeed an ass, nothing can be done about this, not even the Adoption Board can be notified or they , the State and the gardai could be sued.
It’s an open door that could spell disaster for thousands of children in this country over future years, God help them.
We’re donating all proceeds from sales of our Lonely Beast apps this week (8th-15th December) to Temple Street Children’s Hospital. My daughter spent a week on the neonatal ward in Temple Street last year. It’s pretty terrifying to have a child that young in hospital, especially as first-time parents, but the staff were incredible. Full of humanity, unbelievably dedicated and professionally curious, they went out of their way to look after the families as well as the children affected by illness. So this is our tiny gesture of thanks.
