A short by Estonian animator Chintis Lundgren about Manivald – an ‘overeducated, unemployed and generally uninspired’ 33 year old fox who lives at home with this overbearing retired mother. To wit:
Manivald spends his days learning piano while she makes his coffee and washes his socks. It is an easy life, but not a good one. Their unhealthy co-dependence is about to change when the washing machine breaks down and in comes Toomas, a sexy and adventurous wolf repairman, to fix it, and them.

atBehold: the BMW Garmisch – an automotive concept designed by the legendary Marcello Gandini, who created the Lamborghini Miura, Countach, Lancia Stratos, and the original BMW 5-series.
Launched at the 1970 Geneva Motor Show, lost for 50 years and always regarded by BMW as a ‘missing link’ in its design history, the vehicle is being re-released in collaboration with Gandini – hand-built in Turin like its predecessor and with the same angular twin kidney grille, square headlights, louvred c-pillar and honeycombed rear window cover.
A very impressive 1:8 scale die-cast model of James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5, complete with essential details including working lights, pop-out machine guns, flipping license plates, ejector seat, bulletproof rear shield and more.
The catch? It comes in 86 parts as part of a 22-month magazine build-up series from Eaglemoss.
And not for the first time, either.
First two issues (plus parts): €1.75. Issues 3-86: €9.75. Total cost: €822.50 (+P&P).
Alternatively, you could have five and a half LEGO DB5s with no wait, or (for €2.33 million) the real thing.

An installation by global design collective Universal Everything currently running at the Barbican in London as part of the AI: More Than Human exhibition.
Visitors are presented with a gyrating, wiggling abstract animation that tracks and mimics their movements via 47,000 possible variations.
The animation becomes more agile as it learns the specific movements of the observer. The exhibition runs until the end of August, if you’re passing.

atBehold: the Icon Chevy Thriftmaster Pickup – one of a series of custom remakes of post war Chevrolet trucks by LA-based builders Icon.
Powered by a supercharged Chevy LSA V8 with a tube frame and independent front and rear suspension, the interior of the far-from-stock 1948 farm workhorse is – for some reason – panelled with 5,000 year old Irish bog oak.

atFurther to a current marketing wheeze by McDonald’s in Sweden whereby hives are located on the roofs of restaurants to draw attention to the world’s dwindling honeybee populations, behold: the McHive by brand marketers Nord DDB – a fully functioning hive in a miniature replica Mickey D’s.
