The Dunnes Stores Xmas 2014 ad.
Simon Chapman writes:
I was wondering if you can ask what the premise of the Dunnes advert is? It seems to be a man going to his mother’s house, where his child is. He is bringing the child a book given to him by his father.
A few questions…Is he coming home from work? Where is the child’s mother/his wife? (No problems if they’re divorced, but if so who is the older lady?) If it’s his mum, why isn’t the book already at her house? So many questions!
Anyone?

Christmas In Liverpool.
By Dublin band Monster Monster
Mick Stuart (top left) of the band writes:
We contacted Liverpool FC with our Christmas song, Christmas In Liverpool, and they love it. They played it at Anfield [Liverpool Ground] on Saturday and plan playing it over the Christmas games. The Liverpool Echo have picked up the story and are looking to do more with it: Also, it looks like BT Sport are picking up the tune for their Christmas schedule. I am a life-long Liverpool fan. Can you imagine? I only ever wanted to play for Liverpool above anything else in life. Hearing our song at Anfield is the nearest I will ever get. I feel like an 8-year-old again. YouTube hits are growing so it seems like we’ve tuned into something.
Meanwhile…
Liverpool FC stadium announcer George Sephton writes:
“It’s a beautiful piece of music. I will be playing it again at each game before Xmas and then AGAIN before Xmas 2015 and for as many Christmases as I have left at Anfield….”
