A worthy addition to the VisionOn Gallery.

Just wondering if any chance you could do a shout out for my comedy group Ghost Train Willy’s show this week? It’s called Rhubarb Crumble – it’s on in The Civic Theatre [Tallaght, D24] tonight and runs until this Saturday 29th November at 8:15pm. Tickets here.
It’s the comedy tale of a second-rate children’s theatre company, whose members all fantasise about the lives they could have led had they not been held back by each other.
Your analogies are invited.

The FAI met and they chose,
To ignore the events that arose,
When they threatened to sue,
Those who simply spoke true,
Now they’re bringing it all to a close.

Until you say it is.
Aww.
By photographer and film director, Conor Horgan.
Conor sez:
“I was at the end of the South Wall a few weeks ago, thinking about how Dublin can be such an intimate city – there’s something about the scale of it that lends itself to us being at ease with other, most of the time anyway. I saw two young Brazilian guys enjoying the sunset, and quietly shot a few frames of them. They noticed me and came over, and I showed them what I’d done. One of them asked me to do a shot of both them, and this is what happened. It hadn’t been apparent until then that they were a couple. I love this picture.”

Breakingnews.ie reports:
“The Public Accounts Committee is today focusing on mismanagement of public money in relation to the purchase of lands for Limerick Greyhound Stadium. A meeting this morning will also look at the knock-on effect of cost overruns on the financial position of Bord na gCon, the commerical state body responsible for the promotion and regulation of the greyhound industry in Ireland. A report by the Comptroller and Auditor General has raised a number of concerns in relation to the Limerick Greyhound Stadium project, which is costing €21m.”

atKerry footballing legends Colm Cooper (left) and Darragh O’Se
Enda Kenny’s party are considering approaching Colm “Gooch” Cooper to join its panel in the new five-seater constituency. But Micheal Martin’s party is also set to try lure Darragh O Se to its election team, pitting the GAA heroes against each other.
A Fine Gael source said: “We can’t ignore how many votes The Gooch could pull in for us. His dad the late Michael Cooper was chairman of the local Fine Gael Killarney branch. So Colm’s credentials are impeccable..”
A Fianna Fail source said: “We need a female candidate in Co Clare…So it is unlikely he [O’Se] will run in Clare but he would probably run in Dublin and would perform well.”
Illuminati dude.
