Eccentric Tesla CEO Elon Musk has changed his job title to ‘technoking’
Elon Musk, the quite daft billionaire
Thought his his title could do with more flare
And he felt technoking
Had a dignified ring
That would make him appear debonair

This morning.
RTÉ Radio One’s Morning Ireland.
Speaking on RTÉ’s Morning Ireland, the minister said that new information emerged about four cases in Norway late on Saturday evening.
The National Immunisation Advisory Committee (NIAC) and the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) acted quickly and decisively, he said, and “for what is hopefully a very short period of time”.
He said a combination of healthcare workers and those in Cohort 4 (at high risk due to underlying conditions) will not now get the vaccine this week. Mr Donnelly said he hopes that they can be rescheduled very quickly.

It’s pointed out to Stephen Donnelly on RTE this morning that the government have missed all their vaccine targets.
Not so says Stephen. Because these aren’t in fact “targets”. They are “estimates based on delivery schedules”.
So that’s makes it ok then? Jesus wept😪

Wyvern Lingo – Rapture
We’ll always have Berlin…
Wyvern Lingo decamped to the German capital to record their second album Awake You Lie. The video for the song Rapture was shot by Aodhagan O’Flaherty and Sierra Graves and features the band – Caoimhe Barry, Karen Crowley and Saoirse Duane – making their way around Berlin.
The trio from Bray, County Wicklow, toured as Hozier’s backing singers and support act and most recently featured on the Women In Harmony cover of The Cranberries’ Dreams.
The band write:
“A recurring image during this album writing process was light, the lack thereof, and wanting to see things more clearly, for ourselves and others. We called the album “Awake You Lie” because it evokes an image of night-time when someone should be sleeping but can’t, due to restlessness or worry. Things are always clearer in the light of day.”
Nick says: Bray of light.
Behold: a spectacular and unusual multicoloured, banded aurora. To wit:
In mid-March of 2015, an energetic Coronal Mass Ejection directed toward a clear magnetic channel to Earth led to one of the more intense geomagnetic storms of recent years. A visual result was wide spread auroras being seen over many countries near Earth’s magnetic poles. Captured over Kiruna, Sweden, the image features an unusually straight auroral curtain with the green colour emitted low in the Earth’s atmosphere, and red many kilometres higher up. It is unclear where the rare purple aurora originates, but it might involve an unusual blue aurora at an even lower altitude than the green, seen superposed with a much higher red. Now past Solar Minimum, colourful nights of auroras over Earth are likely to increase.
